HE
Bunny Hop lived up to the promise of the kick off party thrown by
its sponsor Scalamandre, which you read about here last month. It
was held at the wonderful FAO Schwarz toy emporium on Fifth Avenue
in Manhattan.
Billy
Bush and his wife Sydney, who were there their two daughters Mary,
2, and Josie, 4, served as the honorary chairmen. Billy is
President Bush's cousin and host of NBC’s new show, Let’s
Make A Deal.
The
Associates Committee of the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering
Cancer Center’s three chairmen, Leslie Heaney, Mary Darling
and Leslie Coleman were thrilled to report that the event
raised over $250,000 for their Department of Pediatrics.
There
were 1,000 guests, including Mort Zuckerman with his
daughter Abigail; Michael Darling with Annabelle
and James; Andrew Heaney; Kevin Coleman with Stuyvie
and Avery; Eugenie Niven; R. Couri Hay; Courtney Arnot with
Hayden; Mark and Wiggie Bitter with their
daughters Carter and Anna.
Also
Debbie and Serena Bancroft; Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos
with Sophia, Peter and Nicholas; Nicole Miller with Palmer;
Rand Araskog; Melanie
Seymour Holland; Jennifer and Lowell Creel;
Kathy and Andrew Thomas with Sophia; Ruth
Gruelle; and Kevin
and Madeline McLaughlin.
Raggedy
Ann and Andy were Grand Marshals and adding to the fun, were Michelle
Tolson and Sarah Colon from the Radio City Rockettes,
Magic Al, Lea Golde, Kevin Kruger, and Mikey Mike.
Party
Box provided fun foods for the kids, cookies to decorate, as well
as cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for the adults. The evening was
seamlessly put together by the Society’s hard working staff,
especially Nicole Micco, Barbara McLaughlin and Evie
Brown. |
