hosted a reception for Intriguing Faces: Portraits by Colette in her Fine Arts Gallery at 35 East 67th Street in Manhattan. The show featured portraits of filmmaker Katharina Otto Bernstein, Gabriel Byrne, collectors Audrey Nevins, James McLaren and R. Couri Hay and the artist herself as Frida Kahlo.

Among the guests dropping by to toast Colette, who donned an 18th century costume inspired by Marie Antoinette for the occasion, were Bronx Museum of the Arts trustee Michèle Gerber Klein; Anthony Haden Guest; photographer Christophe von Hohenberg, whose book Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died that he did with Charlie Scheips is heading for a second printing.

Also Katharina Otto and Nathan Bernstein with their three sons; Metropolitan Museum of Art curator Maureen Cogan; printer Alexander Heinrici; writer/filmmaker Willoughby Sharp; real estate wunderkind Dennis Karr with his wife Gail; Federico Suro; Indian chanteuse Asha Puthli, who is enjoying a major surge in her career; artists Michelle Marie, Bill Beckley, Neil Jenney and Anton Perich; German Vogue's Claudia Sternkey; HGRP France's Yumiko with Shohe; interior designers Roric Tobin, Geoffrey Bradfield and Joel Allen; Emma Snowdon Jones.

Also on hand were author Alan Jones; director Jason Grant; Heather Cohane; Christopher Hawkins; art experts Michel Witmer and Thomas Knapp; Gana Thompson; Vadim Tenovsky, beaming first time grandparents Maria and Guillermo Esparza; award winning architect Elaine Lewis; Astrid Heeren; writer Marcy Macdonald; psychologist Judith Chusid; Bill, Theodore and Martha Nevins; Mark Langrish; fashion trend spotter Stanley Pearlberg; Robin Leacock; Marina Polo; actors Pawel Szajda and Alex Wraith; Sally Anderson; Jeremy Hu, Oliver Rish; Harold Channer; ArtNet's Brian McConville; Marjorie Newman; Iva Hosnova and Savannah.
