What You’re Looking For

HE Lexmark P6250 Home Photo Center is an excellent All-In-One for personal use. Its PictBridge enables you to print photos direct from your digital camera, and its card readers accommodate almost all digital cameras with Compact Flash Type I and II, Micro Drive, MultiMedia Card, Secure Digital, Memory Sticks, SmartMedia and xD.

The P6250 offers superior printing, high resolution scanning and one-touch color copying – without the use of a PC. A cartridge ink gauge displays ink levels so you’ll know when it’s time to get a new cartridge. And on the 2.5-inch color LCD screen they’ll walk you through the steps to change the cartridge. For me that was a big help.

The Lexmark Imaging Studio Software helps you reduce red-eye, crop, resize and enhance images. A neat feature is the countdown timer informing you how long it’s taking to spit out a finished picture. Price: $149.99.

Great Gifts For
You And Yours

ARK FELDSTEIN has been offering great gifts and houseware products for 19 years, ands this season he won’t disappoint. See his catalogue at www.mfagifts.com. Last year he introduced The Illuminator for $30, a flashlight with no bulb and no batteries. In this day and age, what home could be without it? It even comes with AM/FM radio.

The Sweet Machine, $35, reminiscent of the arcade, will thrill the kids. Put one on the desktop and it will delight adults. Fill it with treats or toys, and maneuver the claw to grab your choice before the music stops. Lots of fun, and rewarding, too.
