ANUARY always starts off as the slowest social month.  Probably because everyone needs to breathe after our whirlwind round of December parties, events, galas, office and school parties. Then there's Chanukah, Christmas, St. Barts, Aspen, Palm Beach...and New Year anywhere in the world.

January brings a big lull and a welcome respite as we gear up for the spring season.

To celebrate, I want to share some of the highlight parties of 2003...and say a giant thank you to photographer Rob Rich, whose expertise and professionalism captures the magic, the fame and the ambiance of some of the greatest parties in the whole wide world.
