Tsunami Opening Kicks Off

Photos by Lucien Capehart  HE grand opening of Tsunami, an Asian fusion-style restaurant and lounge, in Palm Beach, Florida, doubled as a kick-off for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County spring dinner dance, “Barefoot On The Beach,” set for March 28 at The Breakers.
The dance chairs and supporters Merrill Duemler-Debbs, Wilder Regalbuto, Maureen Whalen, Wally & Betsy Turner, Reid and Suzy Boren, Craig Mancuso and Vivianne Hall toasted Tsunami owners Frank Cilione and Shamin Abas and their chef Brian Kenny with champagne Veuve Clicquot. Anand Jon, the internationally acclaimed designer, debuted his cruise line with a fun fashion show. Guests included Andrea Stark, Allman Brothers Band’s Butch Trucks with his wife Melinda; lighting guru Bentley Meeker; Broadway producer Terry Allen Kramer with her nephew Charlie Allen; hand bag designer Lana Marks; Anheuser-Busch heiress Pamela O’Connor; Wally Findlay Gallery’s new Palm Beach director of communications Whitney Tower and his fiancée, interior decorator, Dana Dodds; and Ben Vereen’s son Benji Vereen.
